Dogs on leads please at ALL TIMES

Bitches in season may be brought to the show ground but must be kept well away from the ring areas.   No mating of bitches in the venue vicinities.

Dogs known to be aggressive may not be brought to the event.

Dogs in cars on hot days:  Please ensure your dog has shade, ventilation and plenty of fresh water.   If your dog is found to be at risk, forcible entry to your vehicle may be necessary without liability for any damage caused.

Showing  order  -  Classes will run in order of the schedule.   It is the handlers responsibility to be present at the ringside when their class is called.

Please Pick  up after your dog  – anyone found not picking up their dog’s poops anywhere  may be asked to leave the show.

Infectious Diseases: handlers shall not bring to the Show any dog which has contracted or been knowingly exposed to any infectious or contagious disease during the 21 days prior to the Show, or which may be coughing contagiously or suffering from a visible condition which adversely affects its health or welfare.

Entries are ‘at your own Risk’: all entries are at your own risk and accepted on the basis that handlers and owners understand and fully accept the risks to themselves and their dogs of participating in canine events and expressly absolve Dogs Actfully and The Big Teignmouth Dog Walk, the show officials and the venue owners of all liabilities.

Treats in the ring – may be carried in the ring, but no crumbly treats please for obvious reasons!

We are a friendly, active dog club based in Combeinteignhead with regular Group and Individual Classes; Social Events, Guest Instructor Workshops and Charity fundraisers.

Regular weekly classes include Agility from Beginners to Competing and up-to-date Practical Obedience “Life Skills“ from Puppies to Kennel Club Good Citizen Certification and beyond.

We often run individual workshops or short class series including “Fit Paws“ type Canine Conditioning, Reliable Recall and Rally with occasional brilliant guest Coaches. We also offer 1:1 support and coaching. Training is fun, tailored to you and your dogs, based on positive reward methods and behavioural understanding. In addition to professionally run classes, members can initiate activities such as dog walks, meet-ups and help organise events like seminars and workshops through our active friendly facebook page.
